How much space will the therapist need?
Prepare a space about 10x5 feet- we can help you move furniture if necessary.
For couples massage we require about 10x10 feet.
Choose a quiet, warm area, turn off your phone, dim lighting, and do what you can to create a relaxing environment.
We provide our own music, heated table, bolsters, sheets, blankets and lotions/oils.
What should I wear for the massage?
You will be under a sheet and blanket. We use professional, secure draping, and you will never feel exposed on the table. Therefore we recommend you remove all clothing, but if you feel more comfortable you may leave your underpants on.
You may wish to have a shower or bath before the therapist arrives, and be wearing a robe or comfortable clothing to make the experience as relaxing as possible for you. Please remove all jewelry.
How do I pay for the Massage?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.
Payment is expected after the massage, therefore you may want to organize payment beforehand, so that you don't have to think about in your relaxed post-massage state.
Tipping is optional, and at your discretion.
When should I not get a massage?
If you have fallen skiing or biking and have an acute injury, please ICE THE AREA and see a doctor if necessary. Massage is not recommended for at least 48 hours after being injured. Do not get in the hot tub-ice only!
We do NOT massage pregnant women in their first trimester.
